Hey Hey and a Big G'Day toya

Found behind the Guyuan train station is a small mountain full of temples and awesome views of the city and the hills around the city.  I have no idea what it is called but I call it Guyuan Shan.  As we gave our Happy Taxi driver a bonus for being a 'Good Ningxia Person' he made us promise that we would give him a call today and he would take us where ever we wanted for free.

The only place I could think of was the small hill I spotted from our train station hotel window the morning after we arrived.  He said that there was another mountain located out of the city that Chairman Mao had visited but we were both happy to visit Guyuan Shan

The hill is very small and your grandmother could easily reach the top temple in about twenty minutes if she decided not to visit any of the small temples on the way up.  We spent most of the afternoon slowly walking from one temple to the next and stopping to admire the views of the city and its surrounding hills.

At the top of the hill was a series of small temples, the tallest being one that sat upon a huge set of steep stairs that had us both breathing a sigh of relief once we finally finished.  The views from the top really were worth the climb and for those like me who love a big walk you can continue on along a series of mountain tops to a pagoda that sits at the pathways end.  Sadly we were running out of both time and light so we slowly made our way back down the mountain side.

Soon after our Happy Taxi Driver arrived to collect us!
Soon after that we were sitting in a beautiful Hotpot Eatery with his family
Soon after that we were all happily chatting about all things this and that in English, Mandarin and local Guyuan dialect.  For most of the night most of us had no idea what the others were saying.

They couldn't understand English and Luo Wei couldn't understand the local Guyuan dialect so when he and his family spoke she had no idea what they were saying.

You see what a confusing country China really is!
Even the Chinese easily confuse each other!
No wonder I am confused!
Who am I?
