Hey Hey and a Big G'Day toya
We left the beautiful Mai Chau Valley and trekked for three hours through the H'Mong villages. It was another day spent amongst warm and friendly smiles.
We ended in the town of Ninh Binh.
Somewhere along the way but right now I can't remember how, but we got bicycles. I remember we met the bus somewhere but buggered if I know where the bicycles came into it. I only remember this as they are in the photos. What I do remember is the ride. The ride was stunning. We rode through the limestone karst peaks that I have grown to love so much since.
Beneath and surrounding them were lush fields of green.
Sadly we arrived in Ninh Binh and the scenic joy passed.
The town was mainly several houses and one or two hotels built along the highway. The main vehicle passing through was a truck. It was a noisey and dirty town and one that I didn't really like much.
Luckily for us we were to only spend the night there.
