Hey Hey and a Big G'Day Toya
Sadly were to leave the beautiful beach town of Nha Trang today. Oh why did I do a tour? It is always so hard to leave the beach. I was not over enthusiastic about moving on but onwards we marched!
Before we left the area we visited the Po Nagar Cham Towers that overlooked a beautiful fishing port. We then made our way north along the coast. The day was long, the day was hot and a lot of the roads we drove upon were not the best either. We stopped for many photos but the day was mainly spent on the bus bouncing to and fro.
I was lost deep in my own thoughts of my on coming solo Asian experience.
I would leave my known life and family for the unknown and have no return date or year to offer anyone. Was I strong enough to cross the boarder into China and follow my dreams or would I be a big 'Lang Dinh An chicken' and return home and continue to make the same mistakes over and over again.
We arrived in Quang Ngai late in the evening. There isn't much more to write. We sat for dinner at the hotel and then went for a walk. There wasn't much there and the stop was mainly to break our journey to Hoi An.
* My little diary also says the words Café Upon Water. I have no idea what this means. What was I thinking when I wrote my diary in point form!!! Usually three for a day.
Beers N Cheers Toya...shane
