We flew to Mumbai (formerly Bombay) late last night and got to bed around 1 a.m. Being tired is a wonderful sleep aid!
We've been in the ECS conference at a catholic retreat center this morning. Jim is meeting with men from the western part of India today. Tomorrow he will be meeting with key men
from all over India to discuss setting up an Emmaus committee. Please pray for these men to know God's mind in this, for cultural understanding and for God to raise up a man to be the Country Coordinator who can give full time to administrating this ministry with such potential in this country!
We don't know how much of Mumbai we will get to see. Driving through the streets late last night it seemed to go on forever and be full of people even at midnight. The poverty is amazing. The comuter train goes into the city behind the retreat center every 4 minutes.
