We got up too early in Istanbul and were at the airport way across town by 5:30 a.m. After we checked in, we checked out our breakfast options. Gloria Jean's wanted $4.50 for a cup of coffee! We finally settled on sharing a breakfast croissant and coffee from Burger King--for too much money. A funny thing was everyone seemed to be smoking in the food court, but there was a no smoking section--8 tables right in the middle of probably 60 others!

George K. met us at the Tel Aviv airport and we drove to Bethlehem where we will be staying for two nights. I think I'll let the pictures do the talking. I'll add some comments, so be sure to click on them.
