Greetings one last time from Bhopal, the city where you may remember, in 1983 there was a gas leak that affected 25,000 people of which 3000 died. It came from a battery making plant which was subsequently cleared away completely. Some of those who were affected are still being treated for their ailments 26 years later.

We are excited by the way  the Indian men are taking ownership of the Emmaus ministry. This kind of thing happens after two or three trips to a country. It can't be completely communicated in one short visit. It is thrilling to see them discussing the structure, objectives, and strategy for the work, to see men enthusiastic about it, catching the vision to take it back too their assemblies, districts and states and get people digging into the Word! This is Jim's ministry.

The owner of the mobile modem we are using is leaving us this evening so we don't know when we will be able to get on line again to tell you about the sights, sounds and smells, the color, calls and curries, the textures, trills and tastes (I'm on an alliteration roll!) of this fascinating country called India, so I will give you a brief outline of our schedule over the next few days so you can be praying.
