Not too much to write here, especially since I wrote yesterday. I do have pictures, though, and I can even upload them right now!! Whoopee!
Dad and I took the bus to Manuel Antonio yesterday after classes and arrived around 8. We found a room at Costa Verde, where Ben and I stayed when we were here. It's so beautiful here, and we got to hike in the national park. We saw monkeys, iguanas, butterflies, and a really cool coastline. We've been swimming twice now in the movie star pool, which is cool, and have generally had an opportunity to chill out. Great sunset, too.
Oh, update on Veronica: I bought medication for her son yesterday, and he's scheduled for surgery on November 11. (He has a nasal deformity that keeps him sick most of the time, and the surgery will correct this, and the government will pay for it. Cool.) So, things are on their way in that department; once he has recovered from the surgery, she will be able to work again, which will put her back on her way to self-sufficiency. Many thanks to those of you who have responded to her need and helped her get through this time.
