Slept in this morning since we were out late.
Threw on layers and headed out to City Park on our bikes.  Biked around the park, headed north to Lake Ponchatrain.  Biked back down to Banks street to hit "Biscuits and Buns on Banks."  We ordered food, but unfortunately, since the restaurant just opened 4 weeks ago, they didn't have much food left.  The owner was embarrassed, but I tried to change his perspective.  I told him it was a good thing that they ran out of food -- that means his business is picking up!  He still comped our food anyway.  Everything they did serve us was delicious.  We had biscuits and gravy (andoulie and chorizo), biscuits and brisket, grits, corn, crab chowder and hot chocolate.

Saints Game with the neighbors tonight!  The host cooked us turkey gumbo and jambalaya.

generation home made gumbo from our host and jumbalaya from the
neighbors. You won't believe the stadium the next door neighbors built!
5 rows with 2 columns of stadium bleachers w/an at least 10' projected
screen. The stadium was complete with Saints colors on the canopy,
voodoo dolls and altars on the stage, noise makers for people to use ..
the list is endless!

with beer, jello shots, chocolate cake and other food goodies. The
whole neighborhood came and went throughout the game. We kept bouncing
from Billy's place (where we're staying) to this place.
