We arrived early in Campo Grande, the gateway to the Pantanal (well one of them anyway!). As we left the bus we were accosted by the local tour agents trying to sell the benefits of their particular tour. We dutifully took the brochures and found somewhere to stay for the night then settled down to some breakfast and read the brochures. Narrowing it down to two companies we then headed back to the bus station to listen to their sales pitches. On the way back past the hotel we ran into the girls from the previous night and decided to try and take the same tour, hopefully getting a group discount. After listening in on a few different spiels we decided on Green Track and booked it for the following day. With a quick trip to the bank to change some money over we spent the rest of the day relaxing.
