We caught the early morning bus from Paraty to Sao Paulo arriving about 3PM. In Paraty we were told that we could then get an onwards bus to Campo Grande and arrive the following morning. What they didn't tell us was that we would have to find our way to another bus station somewhere across town, via the Metro. Ahhhhhh. It took a bit of figuring out in our basic Spanish but luckily there were two other girls on the bus heading the same way and they managed to find an English speaking information lady who gave them a map and directions. Megan went in search of the lady while Rick watched our bags. When Megan finally found her she got a bit of a lecture about not spending any time in Sao Paulo but after promising to return at a later date (maybe?) she was given a map and directions.

We found our way to the other place and had a choice of buses leaving that night. As we would be sleeping on the bus we decided on the first class "Leito" which had massive, lounger like seats that reclined almost flat for a very comfortable nights rest while we traveled. The bus only had three seats across they were so big. Probably the best bus we have taken the entire trip, even though we'd previously vowed not to take overnight buses again!
