Voyeuristic Behaviour?

We woke this Sunday to typical rainy London weather, though luckily we were doing something indoors; we were heading to the Bodies Exhibition. For those of you who haven't seen any advertisements for exhibition, basically, they take dead peoples' bodies and treat them with lots of chemicals and then put them on display for the public to see. Obviously this is right up Meg's alley, Rick not so much.
One of the first body parts on display is some guy's skin. No, not the flakes of skin that everybody sheds on a daily basis, ALL of his skin. Basically all his insides and skeleton had been removed, leaving just the shell of skin, nicely flattened out and displayed. It was fascinating (and according to Rick, kind of disgusting) to see just how much skin you actually have. We then spent the next two hours wandering through the exhibition seeing various organs and people's bodies displayed in various ways. We saw a guy with his skin also removed but this time it was the underlying muscle layers on display. They had a display where they pumped somebody's arteries and veins with a liquid rubber substance which then hardened, they removed the body and left a life size display of the blood supply throughout the entire body - amazing. There were too many more displays to write about but all were absolutely fascinating. As we were wandering through we were both thinking that we didn't want to donate our bodies to science, but apparently every time the exhibit is in a different country they have thousands of people offering to donate their body to the exhibition when they die. Apparently they actually sign them up as well. So how 'bout it guys anyone want to help educate us voyeuristic people in the future? Anyway check out the website if we haven't turned you right off!
