Russian Glamour Model

We jumped on the early morning bus to Siam Riep. Luckily Meg had arranged a free pickup from the bus stop to the affiliated guesthouse back in Phnom Pen. When we arrived there were thousands of tuk tuk driver all vying for the western tourists on the bus. There were even police there with stick trying to keep them back. We quickly found our driver and headed off. The driver that picked us up turned out to be a really nice guy. He told us we could buy a ticket to Angkor Wat that evening to watch the sunset and then use the same ticket for the following day. So we organised with him to be our driver and he came back to pick us up later in the afternoon.

01 - Touts Galore

We went for a walk to explore the town and stumbled on a great cafe that served the yummiest Mars bar and Pina colada milk shakes. As the evening approached we headed to the temples for the sunset. It was very crowded with everyone wanting to get the best photos. We had a good laugh at a Russian couple who were posing like glamour models. It was hilarious. The women was dressed in skimpy tight peddle pushers and tight t-shirt with tons of bright make up and teased blonde hair. The highlight though was the shoes. Clear plastic 3 inch wedge heals. God knows how she managed to climb up the temple in those. We noticed she took them off to get back down the steep steps.
