And it is beautiful.
It's a lot of old French colonial buildings, but this time all in really good nick, set on nice streets, on a peninsular between the meeting points of 2 rivers. And it's a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's that nice.
Ali and Miriam left yesterday back to Bangkok and then home so I return to solitude, and have lots of time to write on the internet! I'm waiting for my Chinese Visa to come through and then I can leave, if I want to.
And something I don't say very often... It is too hot outside. Really.
So basically what I've done here so far is walk around a lot. When it's not too unbearably hot it's just so easy to walk around the town. So many nice buildings, no hassle, beautiful place. When it is too hot you can sit in a French style cafe and drink iced tea / iced coffee / beer and eat bakery stuff, which is all bloody good. And that's what I'm going to do now...
