Luke is a smashing guy, even though he is Welsh.   He has an acidic, thoughful view on everything which meant he and Mac got on well. He always seemed to get the naffest rooms, which was very thoughtfull of him as it ment the rest of us had better rooms. So, in honour of him, we presents THE LUKE's for the best and more importantly worst bits of the trip.... these are Mac and Mable's views  and do not represent the views of any other parties or the British Commonwealth.

THE LUKE's ROAM CHINA

Worst Hotel Shower.... Li Qing Hotel, Longi, like a hamster with prostate problems.
Worst Hotel WC.... The Fawlty Towers, Yangshuo, it made no difference just pee on the floor.
Worst Hotel Room... Simatai, it was colder than cold and olnly the mould kept the paint from peeling off.
Worst Meal.... Beijing, Chinese fire noodles... don't even go there!
Worst outside WC... Guilin train station, even the rats refused to enter it.
Worst Extra Trip... bamboo rafting Yangshuo, even more duller than a Daniel O'Donnell concert.

Best Hotel Shower.... The Bridal Tea House, Kowloon, now that is what I am talking about, hot and fast.
Best Hotel WC.... Crystal Business Hotel, Xi'an, even though it has a see through wall..
Best Hotel Room.... Crystal Business Hotel but no doubt the Outside Inn Chaolong in the summer.
Best Meal..... Grand Mothers, Shanghai.
Best outside WC.... Mc Donnalds on the way to the Great Wall.  It was better than their Burger!
Best Extra Trip.... Mud caving Chaolong, come on, Mac, mud and targets to throw it at...

So that's about it for Roam China. Mac loved it, the spitting, the mad driving, the Fire Noodles and the Shanghai accrobats, do it, you won't regret it AND a big thanks to Captain Pot Noodle, Andy, Kristina, Luke, Louise, Kelly and Ammy the leader for making it so much fun... look out Vietnam.
