In Antwerp Gill stocked up on their lovely chocolates and I took the opportunity to ring the office - did they still remember me? Had they appointed a new branch manager?

Anyway, I was still thinking of the call and Gill was guzzling the chocks when suddenly the camper conked out. we had run out of petrol on the motorway. what a twerp - three and a half thousand miles and within a stone's throw of England and I forget to watch the petrol gauge.

we had seen a sign that said petrol in 5 KM - so as some form of self punishment I decided to walk it instead of meekly phoning for roadside assistance. An hour and a half later - we were on the move again. What a plonker.

Eurotunnel and then home at 1am - all safe and sound.

The end part two of the year. Only five months left!!!!
