I reached Bryce without too much fuss around the late morning of the third day and proceeded to hike around the amphitheatre (which is the main feature of the park), taking in the views of the hoodoos in the afternoon sun. Its a fairly accessible park, with roads taking you up close to the main views overlooking the hoodoos, but a hike around the rim of the amphitheatre is worth the huff and puff.
Bryce is one of the most beautiful national parks in the US, and one cannot help but amaze at mother nature's artistic abilities. I had done a hike into the canyon and amongst the hoodoos a few years ago, so as mid-day approached, I bade Bryce another farewell and headed off via the Interstate 12 to Capitol Reef National Park.
