From Lunel we went to Andorra, one of those exotic destinations that you want ticked on your map of visited places.
The drive itself was quite interesting, first a nice freeway with virtually no trucks and very little traffic, then a narrow serpentine on which we got stuck behind a painfully slow line of circus trucks and finally a beautiful, mountainous road, winding but very wide with spectacular views on snow-covered mountains. The last part already within Andorran borders.
The capital of Andorra, Andorra La Vella, proved to be little more than a shopping strip.
Admittedly, prices were very attractive, for example, Diesel fuel cost 55 cents per litre compared with some 85 in France.
