Regrettably we had to leave the unreal Perinaldo and hit the road again.  Visiting coastal resorts was not on our agenda so without hesitation we sacrificed San Remo, Cannes and St Tropez but couldn't go past Monte Carlo.
A few hours there allowed us to see the famous Casino, the harbour in which James Bond had blown up a yacht once, the castle and, of course, the streets in which Formula 1 cars rule one weekend every year.
