Up and out early for the long drive across Montana. Montana is a very large state. We drove from the mountains at Glacier National Park to the prairies in the central and southern parts of the state. We passed many ranches. In the areas still on the Indian Reservation we had cows and horses sharing the road with us.
We did stop at the Great Falls Visitor Center where they have a statue to those who found the portage for the Great Falls on the Missouri River.
The drive was uneventful but long. Now that we are heading home the urge to get this is getting stronger. We arrived in Hardin, Montana to a nice sunset.
