For the first time since we left home we awoke to blue skies which showed off the mountain overlooking our campsite.  The day was another one of scenes through the window.  We passed through the Hazelton Mountains which are still snow covered as the Rockies were.
We finished our drive along the Yellowhead Highway today with a short four hour drive to Prince Rupert.  We will be here for a few days until we catch the ferry to Ketchikan on Saturday.  The drive was short and uneventful.  We arrived early enough in Prince Rupert to do some food shopping and do our laundry.  With all of the cold weather we have run into we have gone though all of our cold weather clothes and then some.
After dinner we explored the town a bit, primarily looking for eagles to photograph.  We found them along the water.  A couple of eagles were sitting on an old dock, where we understand someone feeds them several times a day.  They were not being feed tonight.  About a block from the water the trees were full of eagles.
We also visited a couple of parks in the area.  As we returned to the campground we had to stop for a deer wandering through.  He eventually made his way down to our trailer for a brief visit.
Tomorrow is a day to sleep in.  The trailer needs a cleaning, so that will be first on the agenda and then off to explore a bit more.
