After spending last night being lame and lying in bed reading and icing, I woke up this morning feeling a little bit better and decided to try to go see some stuff.  With Andrew still not home from his pub crawl the night before, I grabbed breakfast at the hostel I went to the Vatican to see the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica.  (I did receive a text from Andrew around 10am apologizing for not being back in time to come to the Vatican and telling me that he "fell in love.")  The Vatican was nice, and I got there early enough to bypass some major lines, but there were still way too many people at the Sistine Chapel.  (Damn you Mike!!!  I am so jealous that you got that place all to yourself last summer!)

From the Vatican I headed to the Galleria Nazionale d'Arts Moderna.  Despite pain levels that were making me want to puke, I mustered through and saw some really great art.  I was planning to head to the Borghese Museum, but decided it would be smarter to cut my loses and head back to the hostel to give my body a chance to rest and ice some more.

Currently I am taking it easy, drinking some Depserados in the hostel bar, and hanging out.  Hoping to hit up a nice restaurant that Vanessa's cousin Noah recommended tonight, and then hopefully being social since last night sucked.

Tomorrow we head to Milan.
