So after sleeping until Noon (completely needed) Andrew and I met up with Drew and Ashley and headed out to see the palace, Sisi Museum, and Royal Apartments. Pretty cool. It is incredibly hot in Vienna, so that makes getting up and going really hard, and has left me feeling pretty tired during the day no matter how much sleep I get or how much water I drink.
After this we walked down to the river. Andrew and Drew hung out at a bar that was on a small, make-shift beach with sand and beach chairs, while Ashley and I went over to the other side of the river where there was shade, so we wouldn't burn. It looked like they were starting some sort of music show there that night, since there was a stage set up and lots of vendors, and the act (I am guessing he was the opener) was not very good. Ashley and I ended up getting spray on tattoos (mine is a rose on my ankle) just for the fun of it.
After a couple hours I hit my hunger limit, so we headed back to the hostel. We hung out at the bar here and had a few drinks and then had dinner at what I think was a Turkish restaurant. I got something with chicken, peppers, tomatoes, and rice that was really good. (Eating leftovers for lunch!) We then headed out to meet up with Adam (from hostel in Prague) for a pub crawl. Drew and Ashley headed home, but since I thought I was going to be seeing them on the crawl, I never really got to say goodbye...So -
Drew + Ashley -
Thanks for coming. It was really nice to have you both here and I hope your flight home goes well. Don't forget to send me a nice long account of Boyink activities to post on the blog.
Drew - Sorry if I was an ass at times. I know I can be argumentative, its nothing personal. Don't hate me. And thanks again for all your help the other night!
Ashley - It was so nice to meet you!! Thanks for being a good sport about things and for being my "pole." If you are ever in Boston, let me know!

Ok, at this point all those people who know me as the little sister or daughter need to stop reading. You will not want to hear about this.

I was debating leaving this out, but I figured I need to learn to point the figure out myself every once in a while. -- So I definitely became "That Girl" last night on the pub crawl. Nothing worse than turning into the person you hate. I definitely was making out with a guy for about an hour in a club during the last stop of the pub crawl. Yup. We all hate that couple, and I was 1/2 of it last night! For those friends of mine who care, his name is Keith, he is 22 (yup robbing the cradle!), he just got out of the Marines, and is from Kentucky, oh and is a staunch Republican that voted for Bush. (Clearly politics were off the table as a discussion item for the night!) Europe may be turning me into Boyink. Or maybe its just that I am hanging out with him. Either way, I may need to start putting more of a check on that. Can we just pretend that I am living out the Freshman and Sophomore year of college I didn't get because I was dating someone? Please?
