Sorry that I have been neglecting you all recently but I have just got my photos onto disk and am in a super fast internet place to catch up.
Well, my luck with the weather in Ilha do Mel followed me to Foz do Iguacu at the border with Brasil and Argentina. I arrived at 05:30 in the morning and after a few hours sleep decided to risk going to the falls, inspite of the weather. They were pretty impressive but the weather was a little miserable and visibility wasnŽt great.
That night two girls arrived who were from N. Ireland and we shared our dorm together and had a few bevs with the tallest Belgian guy IŽve ever met (6Ž7" - I thought they were all short???). It was good craic.
The following day I headed to the Argentine side and thankfully the sun slowly began to show its face. This side was so much more impressive and with every corner we turned, the next cascade was even more spectacular than the last. I think because the rain had been particularly heavy that week, there was a lot more water than usual and it wasnŽt quite as pristinely white as usual but still stunning.
IŽll let the photos speak for themselves.
