Hi everyone!

Well, I made it here. It was a total of 22 hours travel time but adjusting to the time and day change has been pretty easy so far.

I'm staying at a nice hostel for the first couple of nights (it has a rooftop pool!) but switching to a cheaper place tomorrow :( The climate is HOT. It was 96 degrees yesterday with a humidity of 82. There was an incredible lightning and rain storm last night which cooled the rooms down and made it tolerable to sleep. I'm staying in the back packers district. There are TONS of Europeans and a few ozzies. Not many North Americans though. I'm just trying to make friends while I wait for my buddies from the U.S. to arrive. Times almost up on the computer so I'll post a few photos tomorrow.

I wish I was right there with you but I sweat underwater! Your photo images are engaging but still, I sweat underwater! How close is the water? Sounds like you're having a great time. Anxiously awaiting your next entry! Love Dad
