Monday is almost over. Two more days here in the sun and then we move out for Quartzsite. Today was very nice except for the chill in the wind. Still could go swimming and take in the hot tub!

Here is what we see out our back window. sunset

A true Arizona sunset. Sunday was a low key day. I stayed in and knitted and read a book, took in some football. Dale fixed Annie's perch. It broke last month and she is really glad to have it back. This is where she sleeps.

Juan came and cleaned our carpets, but Jose hasn't fixed the fence yet. I guess he was called to do another job in the park.

Today, we climbed on our bikes and rode to The Peanut Patch for peanut butter ice cream cones. I haven't been on my bike, well, I can't tell you when. We rode about 9 miles round trip and I do know - next time I wear my bike shorts with lots of padding. We rode by lemon trees and orange trees. Lot of adobe houses. Saw a pen of goats and a funky looking chicken - looked like a guinea chicken. Dale forgot that he left the water filling up the water tank on the RV. So he had to ride back. Then he thought the Peanut Patch was on 14th when it was really on 13th, so he went looking for it and rode more than he wanted. As we were eating our ice cream cones, he mentioned that we needed to get back by 4 pm to pay for our propane. We booked it on home and were 19 minutes late. Someone was still in the office and we were able to pay. Whew! We are always on the edge of breaking the rules and sweating the possibility of getting kicked out! Nah! They are pretty good here.

I made stuffed eggplant with rice and veggies for dinner. And a big pot of chili for when we get to the desert and don't have any electricity!!! Then off to play Pokeno and I came home with more pennies than I left with! I will miss this game. We have such a good time. Now to bed to get ready for tomorrow. Laundry, shopping and lunch with Terry and Kathy. We are also meeting a gal on my campground crafters forum on the Internet. That will be fun.
