Taco Run!!! What is it?!!! Well, on Friday we found out. At 4 p.m. we all lined up in our cars out by the front gate. We were waiting for Monica, leader of a bunch of hungry people. And off we went. Now, we were told this place where the Taco Run ends is a home that has set up a place to purchase tacos and stuff for a very reasonable price. The fun of it was to follow each other to this place.

It was only a two mile drive, but what a drive. Turn here, turn there, follow the irrigation ditch but don't forget to go right slightly. Past the geese, chickens, ostriches and ducks, turn left, you have arrived. As we walked up to the restaurant, we could hear the Mexican music and lots of chatter going on. As we entered, we saw tables about chest high and stools to sit on. The menu was on the wall and Rosa very sweetly read it off to us, a group of about 30 people from the park. She explained what everything was and then proceeded to take our orders.

Dale and I had one of everything including the Cabeza. The tacos and quesadillas had beef in them. But the Cabeza is really the cheeks of a cow and a delicacy. We gave it a green light! On the table was a dish of cabbage, red onions and radishes. These were to be put on the taco's. Also, three kinds of salsa's. Everything was yummy. We had a good time and good laughs. The people in this park know how to have a good time!!!

Then back to the club house and Pokeno.
