Yes, it is New Years Eve. We are on the cusp of 2009 and a brand new year! For us, we are looking forward to retirement and becoming full time RVers. This is something we have been working toward for the last 4 years. We are in our thrid RV - the first a 21' trailer, then a 2 slide 32' 5th wheel and now our current home, a 2007 Carriage Cameo 36', 3 slides.

We have been so blessed this year. The only tradegy that befell us was the passing of my Uncle Norman in September. Other than that, our year went pretty smoothly. In September we were so blessed by finding a church home on the mountain. We can't attend during the winter due to the icy roads but we will be back in April.

Dale moved into his new building and new position at Rogue Community College. He loves his new office except for the fact that the heating system doesn't work in the building and he gets cold. They finally gave him a heater.

All our children are doing great. We are thankful for this. So, now we move on to 2009 and though we don't know what the year will bring, living one day at a time, our Lord does and we trust He will keep us safe and sound.

Today, well, it was another busy day. Mudane things like laundry and house cleaning, and shopping. We headed out early to BLM, the Chamber of Commerce and the Info Center to find hiking trails. No luck there. I guess we will have to go find out own. I also attended Bible Study this morning.

After lunch, it was craft time and I took my knitting over to work on. Of course, there is more chatting going on between all the ladies and some progress is made on the projects. After that I took my turn in the swimming pool swimming laps for exercise. Then a dip in the hot tub and back home to prepare for the New Year's Eve party at the club house.

We lasted 2 hours. That is pretty good for us and socializing. I can only talk so long. No games were announced and that was a bummer for a lot of us. Our path was lit with  lumminates on both sides of the road as we walked home. The moon was so bright in a black sky. A good time was had by all, but everyone's bedtime is probably around 8 pm!!!! JK.

Dale and I wish you all a Happy New Year and may God bless you richly throughout the year.
