Before I begin todays activities, I want to remind you all that we have 244 days until retirement and then this show goes on the road and stays in the sun!

Kathy and I were going to try the water aerobics this morning, but she couldn't and my sinuses were acting up, so we skipped that activity. She went off on her motorcycle and Dale and I went out to breakfast and shopping. The cupboards were bare and we need to replenish.

First, we found Auto Zone because a lamp on the truck burned out and we had to get a new one. Then we tried to find a place for breakfast on 4th Ave, but that didn't happen. Finally found an IHOP and quenched our hunger. The place was packed and we were wondering if everyone was a tourist because these people should have been at work! We had a delicious meal and headed out to find Joann's.

And that didn't happen. We ended up in the Foothills on Fortuna Rd. looking at mattresses for our bed. We found one we liked, but it would take 2 weeks to get it in and we aren't going to be here in 2 weeks. Then we headed to the new super WalMart. We thought the restaurant was packed. Jeez, this place was awful. Nice store though and prices were somewhat more than at home. We were able to get out of there with spending only $70. Now we can eat at home.

We journeyed home stopping at The Peanut Patch everyone has been raving about. Kathy told me they had the most delicious peanut butter ice cream. I thought maybe they made it but it was Dyers. Only, it was to die for! Peanut butter cup and a huge scoop for only $1.50. I was going to buy Dale some cornnuts, but the line was so long and the girls were having trouble with the cash register. We had groceries to get in the frig, so we took ourselves and our ice cream home. Only the ice cream didn't make it to the house!!!

I gave Kathy a call and we had a couple of options - take a walk or go have a luxurious soak in the hot tub. Check out the photo to see which one we chose.

Back at the RV, it was nap time. The time change and the soak had gotten to me. Awe, this felt good. By the time I got up it was time for game night. I rushed around here getting ready and they were starting when I walked in. It was 6:05. Can't be late around here that is for sure. I had stopped at the bank in WalMart and picked up 300 pennies to be prepared. As it turned out, lady luck was with me this night and I came home with more than I took. Amazing!

We watched some TV as I prepared the back travel logs and off to bed to get ready for tomorrow. Tuesday is Market day in old town Yuma.
