Sunday Morning....up early because it was so frigging cold in that RV. Also wanted to be in the office the minute it opened so we could get our lot space and get set up for a week of fun in the sun.
They have church here, so I was able to sit in for a few minutes. I thought I should go help Dale set up but he had it done. I just pushed the buttons to put the slides out and then set up the house for living in. Our lot is on the west side of the park and we get sun all day long. You can know that we keep our shades up soaking it all up.
Kathy came over we we got caught up on everything that has happened to us in the last month. Then we went for a walk around the park to get some exercise and chat some more. You don't know how much it feels to have the sun on our backs. So wonderful.
Morgan and Annie both loved being here. Annie spent the day outside after being cooped up in the RV for the last seven days. Morgan got so cold on Saturday night she wouldn't even get out of the truck. She was soaking up the sun and the soft bench seat to sleep on. We were worried about her and the way she was acting but she snapped out of it later in the day. What a goofy dog!!! Here she is at Christmas.
Sunday night at 6 pm is Ice Cream Social night! A scoop of your favorite ice cream is 50 cents. And nice people that they are here, we had 4 flavors to choose from. Then on to the next table to spice up the ice cream with sauces and sprinkles. We sat at a table with Kathy and Terry and two other couples from Oregon! It is a small world, isn't it. Then all the new people to the park had to be introduced. Dale entertained everyone with our story of getting over the Siskiyous just in time. Most RVers who travel in the West know all about the Siskiyous!
Dale talked to one of the board members about the brick fence. He told us he would call Jose. Oh, man this is going to cost us!
After ice cream, you got it. Game night! I learned how to play Po-kee-no. Kathy and I didn't have any pennies, so many generous players gave us theirs. We had a good time, lots of laugh and got to meet some very fine people. After coming home, we watched a movie - 88 minutes with Al Pacino. Then off to bed - in a warm bedroom!

After a night of freezing, I was very tired. So Dale got his stuff done here and was very anxious to head off to the Arizona Market! Since this is a three hour shopping adventure, he went by himself! As he was pulling out of our space, he couldn't see the brick fence that every space has on both sides of each lot. Brick wall
Yep, he took out part of the fence and dented up the truck. Not that I wanted our truck bunged up, but now he can't tease me about my boo-boo on the back bumper. Yahoo!!!!
