It was a long flight from Auckland to Bangkok and cattle class was very cramped with little leg room. But we treated ourselves to a special Motorola rate at the Royal Orchid Sheraton (only just more than a trendy NZ backpackers). Suffering from jet lag we spent a hectic day in Bangkok getting everything sorted for our last month, including booking a Bangkok airways airpass to minimize travel stress to Laos and Cambodia.
At the end of the day we enjoyed a delicious thai buffet at the hotel, including a thai dancing performance. More thumbnails ...
