After a pleasant few days with Chris, we arrived in Sydney to stay with our friends Mick and Glenys and their 3 boys, Curtis, Connor and Callum in Caringbah.
Jerry's time for revenge had finally come after the Ashes were won back after so many years. Mick likes to take the Mick about English sport, so it was time for a blow by blow account of the summer cricket! And no - Australia beating a mickey mouse World XI in a meaningless fixture doesn't count!
A very pleasant few days were had. Mike and Glenys did their best to make us put on the 10lbs we have lost so far by plying us with lots of booze and food - thanks for such great hospitality folks and see you in another 10 years (hopefully the Ashes still safe in English hands)!
