3 days into our trip and we are well and truly chilled. Marathon journey down to Goa quickly dispelled by lounging in the Marriott pool. Good to start with a bit of luxury before the hard travels to come.

1st memorable moment of the trip yesterday with a visit to an Ayurvedic clinic. 1st we had 1 hour 1/2 yoga session. Then a consultation with a doctor to determine our ayurvedic type. Jerry is pita fueled by fire. Maggi is Vata, dominant pita which means I am fueled by air and fire (a dangerous combination). Then hot oil was dripped on our heads for 40 minutes, followed by a 2 person synchronized full body massage. Amazing. Then an indian head massage, hands and feet massage and a facial.

We both have some wierd remedies to take to balance us out. So far no ill side effects.

We all knew that Maggi was a dangerous combination but now we have proof! Great to hear that you have chilled and are enjoying the local therapies...
