27th to 30th Nov 2007
I arrived in Adelaide on the 26th Nov and after an  hour wait for the shuttle bus to the city centre, I eventually got to check in to my accommodation. I then had a wander round the streets of Adelaide to get my bearings. Seems to be a nice city, similar to Perth in WA.
The following day I visited the Tandanya Aboriginal art gallery then headed for the the SA art gallery and museum. After lunch I went to the Bradman collection - various memorabilia on Don Bradman, the great Australian cricketer.
I went on a day tour to the Murray river on Wed, 28th. After an hours drive to Mannum, we had a 3 hour cruise along the river viewing various wildlife. After lunch and the cruise we went to see an old paddle steamer that used to work on the Murray river.
On Thurs, 29th, I visited the Adelaide Oval and had a tour round the ground - Marvellous tour! I then headed back to the centre to send my Christmas presents back to the UK - duty calls!
Today, St Andrew's Day, I have been on another tour. I visited the Barossa Valley and went on a few wine tasting tours including the Jacob's Creek winery.
That's about it for the past few days. Tomorrow is a very early start as I head to Kangaroo Island on a 2 day tour.
Cheers,
Duncan
