G'day Mate! Today I caught an early morning flight from Singapore to Perth, Australia. Arrived around 2pm and after half and hour wait to get through immigration and passport control, I managed to catch the airport shuttle bus which took me straight to my hotel - after a 2 hour trip picking up and dropping off other passengers! Last couple of days in Singapore have been a little quiet - just wandering around the shops on Orchard road and sipping beer in the Raffles hotel bar. Took the cable car to the top of Mt Faber for a great view of the city and waited a half hour in a long queue to get the cable car back to the harbour front.
My hotel was in Chinatown (The Inn on Temple Street) which was only a 10 minute walk to Clarke Quay where the bars and restaurants are and more shops! Anyway that's all for now. I am off to get some tucker (no bush tucker) and a beer or two. Cheers, Duncan More thumbnails ...
