What an incredible trip! I am tired! Whew! Now, I need a vacation from my vacation! That means....a job! Ha!
I have enjoyed traveling around and meeting some great new people, with whom I am keeping in touch. There was Alex in Tobago; Alain, and Fred in Japan; Matt & Family, and Niko in Okinawa; Laura, Clemens, and Mike in Taiwan; John, Renaud, Leith, and Mark in Australia; Juan, Jose, Diego, Daniel & Asdrubal, and Thomas in Uruguay; and Vadim in Argentina; Laura in Mexico; and Cozmo Rob on St. Croix . I hope we will continue to be in touch.
It was also fantastic to be able to visit family and long-time friends and have a proper catch-up. This included Uncle John, Aunt Bibi, Gary & Jen, Grandma, and Mom & Dad; Henri & Gary, and Don & Terry in California; Larry, and Steven (with Mikey) in Australia; and Carmen & Brian, and David & Margaret in New Zealand. Thanks again for your wonderful hospitality! It was super to see you all again!
Finally, anyone who knows about taking this much time off to explore the weird world we live in, also knows that it can't be done without a little help here and there.
Thanks bunches to Aunt Bibi, Paul, Ann in Vancouver and many other friends receiving this who helped with small (but important!) things, such as holding things or helping with information, etc.
Then, there are my "Thanks Super Duper Bunches Awards". The first one goes to Mom & Dad for helping manage my affairs whilst away. Thanks!
The second award goes to Gary, who took charge of my vehicle, and that whole affair. Thank you.
Of course, the biggest thanks goes to my friend Steve, without whom this journey would not have been entirely possible. Thanks for all the help with the tickets and flight arranging, storage, airport pickups and many, many (x10n) other things. You're simply awesome!
