I left Grand Jct. Colorado yesterday after a good stay with my buddy Homer. I wasn't feeling too great, so it was good to lay around for a few days. A friend Jovan helped me do some last minute work on my bikes exhaust, which saved me from having to rig something up. Thanks Jovan!
I'm here in Flagstaff AZ at the moment, finishing up some web stuff and email stuff. I will be meeting up with Troy tomorrow in Phoenix, then on to Tucson on Sunday for a ride with Ron Kuipers. We should be hitting the road on Monday barring the unforeseen.
Weather has been great for riding. I love the ride from GJ down through Cisco into Moab, and then on through Monument Valley. Truely spectacular views. The light wasn't that good for taking photos, but I gave it a shot anyway.
I'll be posting more once we hit Mexico!
Cheers!
Doug

Starting point
Unless you mailed your bike to Grand Junction, I think you missed about 1000 miles from where you actually started.
