I apologize to those who may have visited my site in the last day or so.  Apparantly, in my entry "Packing" the Travelpod automated quality checker thought I was using the blog to promote/advertise which was against the Terms of Use.  After I got that cleared up, I had access to my blog reestablished.  I was trying to link certain items in each of my posts so that those of you readers who are interested could get more information than I list here.  But I guess that's what flagged my account to Travelpod. So, if you're looking for information on anything you see here, I guess you'll have to Google it yourself!

Anyways, I have a few updates.  I finalized my moving date with my relocation company.  They will pick up belongings tomorrow, March 4.  Then I finally get the chance to travel my first mile of my trip and start my drive to Baltimore!  I will be spending a few days with Caroline (sister) and Dan (brother-in-law), and get to do our long awaited visit to the Museum of Dentistry.  All my flights within Europe are now booked.  So, essentially all I wanted to plan out prior to leaving is done.

As for post-Europe, you may notice a few more destinations on my map.  Another item I was on the fence, was whether I would drive my car or have it shipped by my moving country.  It's ironic how two months can quickly seem like an insufficient amount of time.  Just as in planning my itinerary within Europe, I had too many places to visit stateside and on my way to the West Coast.  I finally decided that if there's a time where I have the chance to do this, it might as well be now.    So, after getting back from Europe, I will drive back down to Sandi to pick up my bird, Sandi.  She will be under the care of my co-worker Kristin, who is very good with pets. I will then drive to Houston and stop at Dan's parents house.  I will hop on a flight to California, and drop of Sandi at her new home. After a week in Fairfield, I will head out to Houston to resume my road trip, and eventually end my travels when I arrive in Chino Hills.

In my last week in Savannah, I've been trying to reach all my favorite restaurants before I leave. One of my favorites is Mrs. Wilkes Dining room, where I was able to enjoy its homestyle southern cooking with my IP co-workers.  You sit in groups of 12, and share the food family style. Afterwards, you just feel like taking a nap. Delicious!
