Just a quick reminder or heads up.  Steph and I are heading to Mozambique tomorrow to begin our 15 day Trek/Canoe/Volunteering in the jungle with (Gap Adventures...........http://www.gapadventures.com/).  I highly doubt that we will have any Internet access, so don't worry about checking the blog or email for the next two weeks or so.


Short entry:

We had a great time travelling around Jo'burg today, with excellent and safe tour guides.  We went into some of the townships and learned a lot about South African history.  Went to Nelson Mandella's house/museum and the Apartheid museum and toured Soweto (South Western Township).  All very interesting and shocking and wind-blowing.  The country is still trying to balance out from Apartheid.  And to think this segregation was in place until 1990..............Amazing (sorry Kim :-))


Well...........we are off, and we won't talk for another 2 weeks.  But..............talk to you soon!!!
