(posted by Derek)
After a two very long flights (SFO to Mexico City to Buenos Aires) and a 4 hour lay over we finally arrived. Grabbed a cheap taxi, from a friendly Argentinia calling himself Joe "Schumacher" (after his driving style), and arrived at our 9x9ft hotel room close to midnight. Steph and I ventured out the late night streets to go for some Argentinian meats. Our intent was steak, but somehow we ended up ordering about 5 pounds of pork. 10.5 hours of sleep later, and we are out walking the streets of BA. We don´t want to spend too much time blogging on our first day but wanted to get the word out that we arrived safe and sound to family and friends.
We will be spending the next 3 days here in BA, then flying down to Bariloche for a couple of days. We´ll probably get another blog entry in then. talk to you later.........see you soon (not!).
