Good Morning NYC!
After a few hours of sleep and our last day in NYC, D & G headed out early to the TKTS Discount Booth on Time Square, which sells 50% off Broadway shows. Being accessable to tourists the line weaved up and around the block so we went to the other TKTS Booth in Seaport [corner of Front and John Street]. It's a minor trek out there but it's so worth it! I thought they were closed because there was not a single person in line. We walked right up and got tickets for Fuerza Bruta at 50% off original ticket price. After enjoying the past days of warmth shocked us with the sharp chill of the low temperatures today. As long as you're bundled up, the cold is bearable because you're walking and moving around, but if you keep your ears and hands exposed they'll get what happened to me!
At 1pm we met up with Kelly at the Spotted Pig for a late brunch [314 W. 11th Street & Greenwich Street,]. They don't accept reservations so we waited for ~30 mintutes. We sat up in the second floor in a corner surrounded with wall decorations of pigs/pork. We ordered Bacon hash with poached eggs and a hamburger with shoestring fries. The food was great. It appears that the Sunday Brunch menu may change since the menu had today's date at top.

Gary, Kelly and I walked off our food by heading out to SOHO. Amazingly, the streets of SOHO were filled with people in and out of the stores, as if was the day after Thanksgiving! I finally fulfilled my curosity by shopping at the popular Japanese clothing Uniqlo. It is a huge 2-story store! They have all the basics for men and women at affordable prices. Time check: 5pm - we split up to get ready for tonight's show at 7pm.
After freshening up at the apt, all 6 of us met up for the 7pm show of the off Broadway show, Fuerza Bruta [at the Daryl Roth Theatre, at Union Square]. The show was recommended by Ariel and Phil who watched it the other night. We were left untold about the show, which was great. This show is highly recommended! The show's production is amazing expecially with throbbing beats of the accomapaning music. I don't want to spoil the show, you'll have to see it for yourself!

Knowing that MTV's TRL Finale show started taping live at 800pm we all headed out to Times Square hoping to catch a glimpse of one of the many top artists scheduled to perform. There was a stage set up in front of the MTV studios on Broadway with people posted up along the vicinty of that intersection. We got a glimpse of Talor Swift and Carson Daily who was looking out of the famous MTV studio windows above the streets and Vanessa Manillo who introduced Fallout Boy who performed out on stage. We got shoved off to the edge of the crowd so we decided to eat dinner.

We all at dinner at Eatery [798 9th Street & 52nd Avenue,]. I enjoyed the food. I thought the food was very tasty and created well. I ordered the Sea Scallops with asparagus and black fettucini - excellent! I tasted Kelly's meal of pork tenderloin with bbq corn salsa and potato gratin - tasty but slightly dry. I also tasted Gary's meal - White cheddar meatloaf with onion rings and mash - tasty as well but too much of the cheddar might be end up too much. Overall I would go back to eat the Sea scallops.
It was time to say good bye to Kelly. It was fun to see her again and I'm glad we were able to meet up and catch up with things. I'm proud of her efforts to move out here to NYC from SF. She's doing well out here and I wish all the best, even though I hope that she moves back home soon because we miss her in SF!
