Hi again,

Right now I'm about 365 miles into the PCT, in the town of Wrightwood. My calves have been killing me the past couple days but a day of rest here should help. We climbed about 6000 vertical feet yesterday. Tomorrow I'll summit Mt. Baden-Powell (9399') on my way to Agua Dulce about 90 miles later. The Mojave desert looms just beyond.
I'm still traveling with Luke and meeting up with Jessica and Kevin (the Alaskans)at the end of most days.
The hightlight of the week was Deep Creek Hot Springs where we sat in 104 degree water all day long. Naked people everywhere!
Also camped at Silverwood Lake a couple days later. Looked good from a distance but probably the trashiest lake I've ever seen.
To keep us occupied during the long miles we play "cone wars". This involves stabbing pine cones (or any available cone)with a trekking pole, then hurling it at anyone you're hiking with. I've drawn blood twice now. Such fun!
I should have some more pictures uploaded later today.
