I never finished yesterday, I was just too tired. When I got to Paris the whole thing still didn't feel real. We went back to his house next via train. Let me tell you, dragging all that stuff through Paris was not fun. I think I may have over packed a bit. My Uncle Stevens house is very cool, it looks very French. It's small and old and I love it. On the train back I saw the Eiffel tower for the first time. That's when I knew that I was really in Europe. This town is also very cool. It's called Etang, it's incredibly picturesque. It's so weird to think how old everything is.
We got into two arguments with French women while we were out last night. One was because I had my feet on the chair on the train (oops)! The other was at dessert. Our waitress asked us why Bush wanted to make France a colony of the US! In the end Uncle Steven got her to thank us for her not speaking German
We had dessert at a great cafe right beside the Arc de Triumph. My ice cream was French!
We also ate at a very interesting restaurant, I had chicken. We sat with some guy who was by himself. That was a bit odd. He didn't speak English but Uncle Steven translated for me.
Today we were every where. We walked around Paris and went to Notre Dame. It's really indescribable. So absolutely amazing I can't even say it. We ate at another really great place. Just wandering around was fun, I wanted to look at everything. We also went on a boat ride on the Seine. We saw quite a bit of Paris and learned a lot. We also saw the left over rocks of the Bastille. These were rebuilt two blocks away from where the building had stood. The location of the Bastille is outlined in rocks on the ground. It was huge.
We then ate at another amazing restaurant. Tomorrow I am going to Versailles and up the Eiffel Tower. There are only five days left until Germany!
