So here I am just a little over two months out from my trip to the Balkans (sorta). I've been planning like crazy and just can't wait to get there! This trip is meant to be a practice run/quick fix for me. The plan is to hit Bucharest, Sofia, Belgrade, and Sarajevo in just 8 days. It's a bit adventurous, and not the way I prefer to travel. It just sort of worked out that way with the trains, planes, and buses. It will be an adventure!

Exciting Trip!
This sounds like a great trip. The weather this time of year must add another factor as well. Of course some people will do anything to get away from the US elections. Does going to countries where they don't have them help? Hopefully you'll get no anti-American backlash!

It's cold, but not as bad as I thought. It rained all day today, that wasn't much fun. How are the elections going?
