After a traditional breakfast (no bread and jam, finally!!) we were prepared for this long sightseeing day in Alexandria. The first thing to see was the Fort Qaitbey, where in ancient times the lighthouse of Pharos was. At this place I was interviewed by the Egyptian television about my stay in Egypt. After having seen all the rooms and places in the citadel and the view over the sea we moved on to the Roman amphitheatre and to the National museum. And finally in the late afternoon we went to the famous Bibliotheca Alexandria, the library. After a short rest we went to the Fish Market to have fresh fish for dinner with a fantastic view over the sea. Since it was not very late, we went for a walk along the sea and sat down in a nice café near a beach to have some drinks.
