This day started at 2 o'clock in the morning, when we had to get up to go to the two temples of Abu Simble. But don't think that you have the temple of your own, when you force yourself to leave your bed at that time in the morning - we went in a convoy with other 50 tourist buses and police security. So though we arrived at 7 o'clock in the morning it was already quite crowded at the temple. But the temples of Ramses II and Nefertari were really worth visiting and it is still incredible to me to believe, that they had been removed and rebuilt.
After having returned from Abu Simble we checked in to the Felucca, where we were supposed to stay for the next two days.
