I'm living next door to a hero.  Not only does Gilda make my day with her enthusiastic, canine good- morning kisses, but she kills snakes! You'll need to read this for the full story, but suffice it to say that Luigina is grateful for her faithful companion.

Thank you for the favorable blog entry for Man's Best Friend! A true hero!

I just read some of Englishman in Italy's posts, and I cannot stop laughing! They are hilarious, and I REALLY needed to smile today, so Grazie Tanto!

Plus I am amazed and in awe of little Gilda's brave response to her person's distress. Dogs are the greatest companions in the world.

Hi Cathy,

You shouldn't laugh, I was being deadly serious. It could have been fatal. :)

Gilda was being congratulated for being so brave, and Donna was also congratulated for manhandling the snake so that pictures could be taken.

Ciao Donna, I forgot to say I have linked this to my blog.
