What a warm welcome! Thank you, Leticia and Eran for sharing your beautiful apartment (and offering your mom as a welcome crew- thanks Yona!).
Settled in, ate some tasty falafel and ready to check out the city tomorrow.
Somehow I already feel at home.

P.S. Happy Birthday Becky! Miss you.

Gaby on

Jake, Lilly and I visited Israel when Paul was on Kibbutz there. Jake was all ready to not like the place...but he felt at home immediately. It was so interesting to watch. He loved it and he and Lilly went back a couple of years later. I think it was a totally visceral reaction...the smells and tastes of his childhood. The sound of Hebrew. Did something to him. Glad you're enjoying it. We do have a cousin living in one of the small cities near Ber Sheva, butg I don't remember the name/ Perhaps Kiriat Gat? That's the only thing that comes to mind. His name is Dov (Hebron?). All the best!!
