La Cite', a fairy tale medieval city, filled with narrow cobble streets, and  enclosed by two rampart walls punctuated with 52 stone towers. We enjoy the afternoon exploring the castle, wandering through the narrow streets stumbling across ice-cream, and sweets. After dinner we take a stroll along the city wall, to see the sunset over Carcassonne..Truly breathtaking (and romanticJ). We continue wondering through the street until late at night, not wanting the night to end.
