After being away from London for more than 3 years it was great to go back and see old friends. What struck me immediately about London and the whole time I was there was just the number of people. No matter where you were and at what time of day, there were always tons of people. I noticed this as I just ambled around London just enjoying the sites and people, which represent I´m sure every culture, country and type around. London is a massive city and I reckon as a tourist you´d need more than a week to do the buildings, museums & nightlife justice. Fortunately having lived there for 4 years there was nothing I really had to see or do so I just took each moment as it came. Of course that doesn´t mean I didnt go back to the old favourites like the Fulham Slug, The Fulham Tup (even though its no longer called the Tup!) and the Walkabout (although this was only to watch the Aus v NZ Anzac test). Of course the nostalgia and great weather (2 days of sunshine = UK summer) I started to miss London and think I could live there again one day...
After celebrating my birthday on Sunday at the old Tup (their roast isn´t the same either), it was time to say goodbye to London once again, but I´m sure I´ll be back.
