dolmades, mousaka, gyros, ouzo, spanikopeda, tzaziki, all make me reminice about living in mile-end across the street from arahovas, and really make me wish dublin had even ONE decent greek restaurant. alas.

paid a visit to the jewish cemetery and found the tombs of what i can only assume were some distant ancestors. i must say though that it's a bit cool and weird to see my family name so commonly here when i'm so used to being the only one, ever. maybe i found where i belong??

walked over to the old stadium and acropolis after and now am at a cafe in the new town's shopping area. greeks are fun: hidden during the day but out in full force after the little hand gets to the 7. if it weren't for people being out in the day to accommodate the cruiseships, i'd believe it if i was told rhodes was a city for vampires.
